Farmers Markets

Driving through miles of Southern Delaware farm land, it is easy to see why so much of the food tastes so fresh. It's grown here! There is no shortage of local farmers who produce an abundance of healthy and fresh foods. You can find a wide variety of foods at local farmers markets, including eggs, fruit, honey, vegetables, meat, cut flowers, herbs, breads, and pastries.

Garden Shack Farm Farmers Market

Thursdays, from 2 - 6 p.m. from April 7 - November 17, 2016

Historic Lewes Farmers Market

Saturdays, May 14, 2016 to November 19, 2016 from 8 a.m. to noon at George H.P. Smith Park at the corner of Dupont and Johnson Avenues.

The Historic Lewes Farmers Market (HLFM) is a non-profit, community-based, producer-only, farmers market. You will find fresh produce, eggs, fruits, breads, baked goods, meats, fish, cut-flowers and herbs.  In addition, the HLFM features workshops by local chefs (using food from the market), master gardeners, and sustainable agriculture experts. The market is a held from May 14 to November 19 every Saturday morning from 8 am to noon at the George H. Riverwalk Farmers Market - Downtown Milford

Every Saturday May - October from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at South Walnut Street and Mispillion Riverwalk. 2016 Season Begins May 7th.
